The nature and our Earth inspires me in so many ways. All different, always new. Shapes, patterns, textures, scents and perceptions, if I close my eyes I can picture them clearly in my mind. Where I would like to go, the things I'd like to discover, touch, taste, smell, experience. Or the ones I’ve already discovered, touched, tasted, smelt, experienced. They are all there, vivid in my head. And then I try to bring them to life in my own way, creating jewelry or writing words.

Inspired by the earth and its irregular, rough, live textures, by the rocks and the bark, these earrings and necklace in sterling silver and a wonderful labradorite drop are, for the nature of their making process, one of a kind. I used a technique called “reticulation”: the flame on the surface leads the metal close to the melting, creating a “dance” of material, that moves and changes every time in a different way, making it wonderfully wrinkly and rough when you touch it. For this reason, the shapes and the results are always different and uniques.
