The necklace was born first: on the paper of my notebook, a “crossbreed” of two or three designs that I doodled on a page already full of ideas. Actually it should have been something different - as often happens - but then an idea calls for another, and something else took shape. When in my head, earlier than on paper, the image defined. It was like when Cupid shoots one of his arrows: love. I could imagine them clearly in my mind and I was excited to make them: necklace and earrings, a celebration of the full moon, her light, the creative energy that she holds and releases, the sense of abundance and at the same time the calm she brings in herself. A small talisman of light.

Prima è nata la collana: sulla carta del mio quaderno, un incrocio di due o tre modelli che avevo pasticciato su una pagina già piena di idee. In realtà doveva essere qualcos’altro - come spesso accade - ma poi un’idea tira l’altra (sì, come le ciliegie!) ed ecco che ha preso forma qualcosa di diverso. Quando nella mia testa, prima che sulla carta, si è definita l’immagine di quelle forme, è stato come quando Cupido scocca una delle sue frecce: amore. Me le immaginavo nitidamente ed ero emozionata all’idea di realizzarle: collana e orecchini, la celebrazione della luna piena, la sua luce, l’energia creativa che racchiude e sprigiona, il senso di abbondanza e allo stesso tempo la quiete che porta in sé. Un piccolo talismano di luce.

I had to wait long before starting to work on it, because it was Autumn and I had to finish the new pieces of the Leaf-Life collection first, then November came and with it all the Christmas orders. At the end of the month, with December at the door, impatience won and I started cutting and working the first full moon and its stick in brass wire. But then, again, I had to leave it because I had other priorities. Some days before Christmas, when the biggest part of the orders already left, I made the earrings: I wanted to wear them on the 25th! So I finally finished them and showed them off with big satisfaction (and a lot of compliments! They weren’t unnoticed).

To finish the necklace, I had to wait until mid-January, after my holidays. And now here they are, available as made to order in my shop or via email, for everyone <3

Ho dovuto aspettare un bel po’ prima di iniziare a lavorarci, perché era autunno e dovevo prima finire i nuovi pezzi della collezione Leaf-Life, poi è arrivato novembre e con esso tutti gli ordini natalizi. A fine mese, a ridosso di dicembre, l’impazienza ha prevalso e ho voluto cominciare a tagliare e lavorare la prima luna piena con la sua bacchetta in filo d’ottone. Ma poi, ancora una volta, ho dovuto abbandonarla perché avevo altre priorità. Pochi giorni prima di Natale, quando ormai il più degli ordini era partito, ho creato gli orecchini: li volevo fortemente indossare il giorno del 25! E così li ho terminati e sfoggiati con grande soddisfazione (e una pioggia di complimenti! Non sono passati inosservati!). Per terminare la collana, ho dovuto aspettare metà gennaio, al mio rientro dalle vacanze. Ed ora eccoli qui, disponibili su ordinazione nel mio shop o via email, per tutti quanti <3

The “Full Moon” jewellery set is full of light and clean elegance, with a touch of boho chic: earrings and necklace in brass, with irregular freshwater pearls and sticks in hammered brass wire.

I dreamt it for long and now it’s here, in front of my eyes. As I was saying, I decided to keep the first two pieces for myself and show them off a lot, I think they’re simple and elegant and make a great effect! Soon I will make them in sterling silver as well (but you can already ask for them in both versions).

La parure “Full Moon” è piena di luce e semplice eleganza, con un tocco boho chic: orecchini e collana in ottone, con perle di fiume irregolari e bacchette di ottone martellato. L’ho sognata a lungo e finalmente è qui, sotto i miei occhi. Come raccontavo, ho deciso di tenere per me i primi due esemplari e di sfoggiarli il più possibile, trovo che siano semplici ed eleganti e di grande effetto!
